local.descriptionManila graced the 3rd Iloilo Biodiversity and Watershed Week opening ceremonies, Nov. 21, 2016 at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol. The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office led by lawyer Arturo Cangrejo led the celebration. Iloilo Vice-Governor Christine Garin and PENRO DENR-Iloilo Raul Lotilla also graced the opening ceremonies. An exhibit features the environment conservation and protection initiatives of the Province of Iloilo, DENR and its partners, including Central Philippine University, University of the Philippines Visayas, SEAFDEC, USAID, Department of Education, Iloilo Watershed Management Council, Metro Iloilo Water District, among others.
