From No. 3, the Philippines has nosedived to No. 8. The scientific forum was organized by the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), Philippine Shrimp Association (PHILSHRIMP), Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Board of Investment (BOI), and Negros Prawn Producers Marketing Cooperative, Inc. (NPPMCI).
