The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) will distribute 900 fiberglass boats to marginalized fishermen in Antique. “We are just waiting for the final schedule for the distribution of the boats,” Office of Provincial Agriculture senior aquaculturist Alletth Gayatin said on Tuesday. Gayatin said the boats will be granted to the registered fishermen in the Municipal Fisherfolk Registry.
