Non-governmental organizations and environmental groups in the Philippines, with the support of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and other agencies, have set voluntary commitments to protect ocean ecosystems in line with
the United Nations’ call for concrete action to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Below Water.
